We are excited to announce our upcoming colour run – a vibrant event bringing our school community together for fun, fundraising, and a splash of colour!
Our pupils will walk, jog or run through bursts of colour in a lively and energetic day, all while raising money for two causes close to our hearts:
Project play
Our school initiative to create a shaded outdoor area, giving children a safe, comfortable space to play, socialise, and unwind – whatever the weather. Currently, our outdoor space lacks shade, which limits its use during hot or rainy days. The new shaded area will make breaktimes more inclusive, enjoyable and enriching for all our pupils all year round.
Cancer Research UK
A national charity carrying out life-saving work in cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment. Our pupils played a key role in choosing to support Cancer Research UK – a charity that has become especially meaningful to us recently.
All money raised will be shared equally between the two causes.
Can you sponsor a colour?
To run the event safely, we will be using specially manufactured colour powder that meets all health and safety regulations. Rather than using the children’s fundraising efforts to cover these costs, we are inviting local individuals, families and businesses to sponsor a colour for £50.
In return, sponsors will be recognised in:
- Our school newsletter (shared with over 200 families)
- Fundraising materials
- School social media platforms
It is a great way to support your local school while contributing to two worthwhile causes.
