In January, year 5 visited West Burton Power Station, with thanks to EDF Energy, and were so enthusiastic about their experience that they wanted to let the world know.

Pupil Rosie-Mae went the extra mile and rang The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 to tell th nation all about their ‘electrifying’ trip! A signed photo of Chris is winging its way to Rosie-Mae.

Year 5’s science-based visit was arranged to strengthen their understanding of sustainability and how forces are all around us. It was organised collaboratively between staff, parents and the outreach team.
