On 18 and 19 June pupils at Tuxford Primary Academy are taking part in a ‘Be Safe Be Seen’ campaign.
Thank you to Hutchinson Engineering for organising: Police, fire engine, sirens, horns and trucks – it’s all happening here today.
Children are getting engaged in various activities, one of which shows them whether they can or cannot be seen by the driver of a truck.
The Police are here talking to everyone about road safety and the dangers of trespassing on electricity sub stations and railway lines. We also have the RNLI who are here to talk to us about water safety around canals, rivers, lakes and the sea.
