Tuxford Primary Academy have had a busy week as they welcomed two new visitors into the school.

Year two had Tiny Toes Ballet in for a visit and discovered the importance of pointed toes and stretching their muscles before dancing. They also got creative with colourful scarfs and began learning some small routines. Year two are looking forward to their next lesson very soon.

In PE this term our school’s focus is hockey and to help out our year groups welcomed Premier Education Coach Mr Diskin into their lessons. In this week’s session the children practiced their drippling skills, where they worked on developing their concentration, decision making and communication skills.

All our pupils did amazingly well and we can’t wait to see the progress they make throughout the sessions. We are so happy to welcome visitors into our academy, it is a great opportunity to enhance our curriculum and generate stronger links within the wider community.
